''36 Vayadhinile'' ((英語:''At the age of thirty six'')) is an Indian Tamil comedy drama film directed by Rosshan Andrrews, written by Bobby Sanjay and produced by Suriya under his production studio 2D Entertainment. An official remake of the Malayalam film ''How Old Are You'' (2014), the film features Jyothika in the leading role, while Rahman essays a supporting role. It marked the comeback of one of the most celebrated actresses in Tamil cinema, Jyothika, and her performance has been the highlight of positive critical reviews. May 2015.〕 ==Plot== 36-year-old Vasanthi Tamizhselvan (Jyothika) is a UD clerk in the Revenue Department. Her husband is Tamizhselvan (Rahman) who works in Akashvaani. Tamizhselvan aspires to emigrate to Ireland, but Vasanthi can't accompany him as most Irish companies turn down her job applications because of her age being a problem.There is nothing interesting about her life; she leads a mundane life but she craves for a change. One dramatic day, Vasanthi is summoned to IG Rajan's (Nassar) office and she learns that the President of India would like to have a conversation with her. The meeting turns out to be a disaster after she fainted and she become the butt of Facebook jokes and before long, she watches helplessly as her husband and daughter Mithila (Amritha Anil) fly away to Ireland. Her old classmate Susan David (Abhirami) now a successful businesswoman, reminds her of the woman she used to be and inspires her to rediscover her younger self, a woman with big dreams and aspirations. Vasanthi, who is encouraged to have bigger goals in her life,gets an idea by a wedding invitation for catering.She comes to know about the vegetables which are not organic and creates a new garden.Then,Vasanthi is invited as a guest to be interviewed by the president of india.Vasanthi answers to his questions and her family together appreciate her.
